Strategic Planning

Facilitation and analysis that help directors and management choose priorities, tradeoffs, measures, and actions.

Buying context

Why it matters

A strategic plan should connect the bank's purpose and market with resources, risks, financial capacity, and accountable work. A generic retreat document does not make those choices operational.

Due diligence

Questions to ask

  1. What evidence will distinguish market facts, internal capabilities, assumptions, and stakeholder opinions?
  2. How will the process force choices about activities the bank will stop, defer, or decline?
  3. How are capital, people, technology, risk appetite, customer needs, and financial scenarios connected?
  4. What owners, milestones, measures, challenge, and board reporting remain after the planning session?
