Document Management

Systems that capture, index, store, retrieve, retain, and dispose of business records.

Buying context

Why it matters

Bank records support customer service, legal rights, audits, and regulatory evidence. Classification, access, retention, legal hold, and export controls determine whether a repository remains trustworthy.

Due diligence

Questions to ask

  1. How are document type, customer, account, loan, retention class, and legal hold assigned and corrected?
  2. Can access be limited by record type and role while preserving every view, change, export, and deletion?
  3. How does the system detect missing, duplicate, incomplete, unreadable, or incorrectly indexed records?
  4. What format and metadata will the bank receive in a complete bulk export?
