Why it matters

Customer analytics can reveal relationship patterns, but identity matching and household rules are imperfect. The bank should distinguish observed account facts from inferred customer attributes.

Questions to ask

  1. How are customers, businesses, guarantors, and households matched, separated, and corrected?
  2. Which source systems and fields are included, excluded, delayed, or transformed?
  3. Can users see why a person entered a segment or campaign audience?
  4. How are opt-outs, privacy restrictions, employee accounts, deceased customers, and sensitive groups handled?
