Buying context

Why it matters

A branch is a long-lived operating commitment shaped by customer use, staffing, security, accessibility, technology, and local conditions. Early design choices affect cost and service well after opening.

Due diligence

Questions to ask

  1. How does the plan connect observed customer activity, staffing, cash, privacy, security, and future flexibility?
  2. Who is responsible for site diligence, permits, accessibility, environmental issues, utilities, and local approvals?
  3. How are scope changes, allowances, contingencies, schedule risks, and contractor markups approved?
  4. What commissioning proves that security, communications, equipment, life-safety, and customer systems work together?
